I can't believe I actually have flowers to join Jane's party today considering the heat an no water situation, but luckily I do.
The hydrangeas just keep going which is surprising considering their very slow start this year.
The herbs however love this weather and are growing like mad so I can put together a happy little nosegay
of sage, oregano, mint and coreopsis for my bedside table.
And the last of the lacecaps for some cheer in the bathroom
Now let's go see what everyone else has brought.
Oh I love your nosegay.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course the hydrangeas.
Doesn't your house feel cooler now? No?
Any chicken left?
xo Jane
Hydrangeas immediately cool down a room.
ReplyDeleteYour herb posy (I thought those were marigolds in there) is inspired. Absolutely charming. I'm going to try it with some of my leggy herbs.
Very sweet. I'm going out right now to pick some of my herbs for a little nosegay (lovely old term) - thank you for prompting me!
Such pretty arrangements! The only thing doing really well in my garden right now is basil and I'm thinking that I might cut some to have inside as I am loving the herbs added to flower arrangements!
ReplyDelete¡Qué bonitos y delicados!
ReplyDeleteUn beso desde Bilbao ;)
I'm especially loving your herb arrangement. Wish I could smell it.
ReplyDeleteI just love all of you who take the time to make sweet arrangements with your flower harvests! Your hydrangea colors are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove the little nosegay of herbs. Just wonderful and ah the fragrance. I love little flowers arrangements the best! I want your hydrangeas, so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAmelia... Your use of herbs is inspired! I had basil and did not even think of using it. The hydrangeas always bring a smile. I am so happy they are hanging on. The addition of yellow coreopsis is just the perfect compliment to the dusty greens. Very pretty containers, too!
