Flowers in the (computer) house - September

So we arrived from vacation, after a week and a half away, on the last day of Summer only to find Fall. The garden is a mess, weeds, crazy tomato plants, wilting herbs. The only flowers are those starting to dry out on the pegee hydrangea. I don't want to miss Jane's flowers in the house party so I'll just cheat a little with the flowers I found on my trip.

and technically, they are in the house. I'm sure there will be much beauty to see at everyone else's house.

  1. There's always so much to do after a vacation. I bet Max is happy that you're home!

  2. I think you are more than forgiven the cheat.

    Are you serving pastries?

  3. Don't you just love "urban flowers"? I love it that cities have invested a few bucks (or enlisted sponsors, or whatever) to spiff up their streets. It makes life in the city so much more civilized. Thanks for sharing.

  6. It is all about flowers, so you are not cheating. When we travel I always am interested in farmers' markets, gardens, garden shops and flower parks. Love seeing flowers anywhere.

    1. I know, and I always like to see what other cultures and countries do to decorate with flowers. It's so much fun.

  7. You're so allowed to cheat. I love seeing the flowers you found on your trip. I'm the sort who always wants to buy flowers when I travel, and of course can never bring them home because of customs restrictions, so photos are the way to go. Budapest looks beautiful. What a great city to visit.
